About Us

PTA ParentTeacherAssociation (PTA) is a nonprofit organization (www.pta.org) run and led by volunteers at each of the school, local, state and national levels. Your dues help provide workshops, conferences, representation at State Board of Education meetings, and an active part in Federal legislation among others. The main goal is to provide support (financial and volunteers) to enhance the teaching quality for all students. Indigo is a unit of the 6th District PTA (www.sixthdistrictpta.org). PTA enables us to work with a legal framework, the Bylaws. It gives us access to liability insurance, and provides us with guidance and resources.
